A CRM built by a car-shipping broker
Brian worked at a car-shipping brokerage, and the CRM there was out of date. So he and his partner built a new one, with AI built in. That brokerage runs its sales desk on it every day, and now other brokers can too.
Why a broker built its own CRM
On an auto transport sales desk, speed and memory book loads. A shipper asks for a price, collects other quotes the same day, and decides days later. The salesperson who remembers the car, the route and the last thing the customer said, and follows up at the right time, books the load.
Brian and his partner built Leader CRM around that day: one quote page with the route and the Central Dispatch price on the lane, a follow-up plan that steps back when the customer writes, a dialer that shows each customer's last message, and orders that go from e-sign to Central Dispatch without retyping.
The owner side came next: a dashboard that says whether every system is working, lead distribution rules, a leaderboard, and risk alerts that email the manager when a customer is unhappy or a payment is asked to an account that is not the company's.
Every screen here is real
Every screen on this site is a real Leader CRM screen, with customer names and numbers blurred. If a feature is on this site, it is in the CRM today.
